Discover Stillwater's parking, multi-use trails, bike lanes, and public transportation options. Whether you're a cyclist, driver, or traveler, this information will help you navigate Stillwater's transportation options.
Stillwater is served by a number of paved and unpaved bicycle and walking trails for non-motorized forms of transit. Cyclists travel streets every day for exercise, transportation and recreation, so it's important that travelers notice "Share the Road" and "Bicycle Route" signs as well as the sharrow (a combination of the words "share" and "arrow") pavement markers.
Public parking is free, but look for signs indicating time limits that range from 30 minutes to 3 hours. Time limits are enforced Monday through Friday, 9 am - 5 pm.
Always check street signs for the most up-to-date parking information.
Per City Council approval through adopting Resolution No. CC-2024-37 in November 2024, Lot 701 between 7th and 8th Avenues and Main and Lewis Streets will no longer include leased parking spaces. Effective June 1, 2025, the parking lot will have additional unrestricted and timed parking spaces.
Public transportation is provided by the Oklahoma State University (OSU)/Stillwater Community Transit System.
Bus routes are operated within the Stillwater's city limits and on the OSU campus. Fees apply.
The Stillwater Regional Airport (SWO) offers non-stop flights to Dall/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). It is the fifth busiest airport in the state of Oklahoma. SWO is located approximately 65 miles between the Will Rogers Airport in Oklahoma City (OKC) and the Tulsa International Airport (TUL) in Tulsa.
