City contractors trim trees located within easements, rights-of-way or those growing into areas that also include overhead electric lines. Our goal is to maintain a safe operating clearance between trees and energized lines.
Trees and Overhead Power Lines on Private Property
City contractor will not trim trees on private property. However, call (405) 742-8230 and we will temporarily disconnect the overhead service wires allowing the owner or contractor to trim trees on private property. This disconnection/reconnection service is provided at no cost to the customer if it occurs during normal business hours.
