2. REQUIREMENTS

   Long-term volunteers are accepted on an as needed basis and usually fill a specific role, such as shelving materials, helping with genealogy, assisting with displays or marketing, or providing technology tutoring. Since training is involved with these roles, applicants must commit to volunteering for a minimum of one full year, regularly each week, for at least two hours per week. If you're unable to commit to one full year, please complete the Short-term Volunteer Application instead.

    The library accepts volunteers during most open hours with the exception of Sundays. These days/times include: Monday-Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
