Fees will not exceed $2,000 per incident for contracted properties. When a property is not covered under a Rural Fire Service Contract, a minimum charge of $500 applies and there is no limit on the maximum fire charges.

To pay by check, return the completed contract to the fire department administration office at 1510 S Main Street. To pay with cash, return the completed contract to city hall at 723 S Lewis Street. Stillwater City Council approved Resolution CC-2024-29 on September 23, 2024, adopting a revised rate schedule for fire service charges. The revised charges are effective January 1, 2025. Also on September 23, City Council advanced Ordinance No. 3545 to second read. Ordinance No. 3545 increases the annual contract fee for the Rural Fire Service Contract from $100 to $200 per year. The ordinance also designates that fees collected are to be utilized to support operations of the Fire Department. Ordinance No. 3545 was adopted on October 7, 2024.
