Library Trust

The Stillwater Public Library Trust was established in 1984 to receive and administer private donations to the Stillwater Public Library. 

Donate to the Library Trust

When you or your business contributes to the Trust, you are ensuring the growth, security, and perpetuity of the Stillwater Public Library. Funds from the Trust support programs, collections, and services that cannot be financed through the library's operating budget. Your support will benefit members of our community and your family for generations to come.

Gifts to the Stillwater Public Library Trust are tax-deductible up to the limits set by federal law. Please consult your financial advisor for guidance.

  • Donations can be made as one sum or a monthly recurring amount
  • Donations via a PayPal transaction are reported to the library once a month. If you would like an acknowledgment letter for tax purposes or a letter to be sent to an honoree sooner than one month, please notify the Business Office of your PayPal donation.

Trust Board

The board consists of five appointed trustees, including two appointees from the City Council, two from the Library Board, and one from the Friends of the Library.
