(STILLWATER, OK) – On Monday, June 10, 2024, at 2:18 p.m., an officer from the Stillwater Police Department (SPD) attempted to stop a grey sedan for a traffic violation near the intersection of McElroy and Main. The driver failed to yield and proceeded southbound at a high rate of speed. The pursuit continued east on 6th Avenue from Main Street. The driver then turned south onto Perkins Road, continuing at a high speed. The vehicle eventually came to a stop in the 600 block of East 32nd Avenue, where the driver was taken into custody without incident. The driver was identified as Ashley Wilkins, 42, of Stillwater. She was arrested and transported to the SPD jail.
