(STILLWATER, OK) – On Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 7:06 a.m., Stillwater Police Department (SPD) responded to the area of 111 N. Perkins Road in reference to a stabbing. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim, a 54 year old male from Stillwater with a stab wound to his face. The victim was able to provide officers with a location of the incident as well as the suspect’s information.
SPD officers, deputies with Payne County Sheriff’s Office and K9 units began searching the wooded area north of Walmart at 111 N. Perkins. With the assistance from Stillwater Emergency Management and their drone they were able to locate the suspect and guide officers to him.
Officers were able to take the suspect into custody without incident. The suspect was identified as Bryce Edwin Crowley, 27, of Stillwater. He was transported to SPD jail.
The victim was transported to Stillwater Medical Center via LifeNet and was treated for his facial injury.
