(Stillwater, OK) – Stillwater City Council approved termination of City Manager Kimberly Meek’s Employment Agreement, pursuant to Section 8.3, termination for any reason other than cause, and authorized payment of the severance package as required by the employment agreement.
“We appreciate Ms. Meek’s contributions and wish her the best in future endeavors,” Mayor Will Joyce said. “We look forward to continuing the exciting momentum of this community and will maintain our focus on strong, positive leadership for the City of Stillwater.”
Deputy City Manager Brady Moore will serve as Interim City Manager and work with Assistant City Managers Christy Driskel and Christy Cluck, directors and chiefs to ensure current and future projects remain on timeline, day-to-day operations continue, and the service-oriented mindset of the staff is supported.
Mayor and Councilors will work with the City Attorney’s Office and Human Resources to pursue next steps to fill the City Manager position.
