Block 34 has long been a desired location for a special community space. Steve Irby, a Stillwater resident and owner of Kicker, has partnered with the City of Stillwater, the Stillwater Economic Development Authority (SEDA), and the Stillwater Community Center Foundation to fund the development, programming, and operations support for Block 34 over the next ten years.
The Stillwater Community Center Foundation has two main responsibilities related to Block 34.
A signature feature for live music and performances, the KICKER Sound Stage offers professional-grade audio for concerts, community events, and local talent showcases.
This open-air pavilion provides shade, seating, and a versatile space for markets, gatherings, and special events at the heart of Block 34.
A wide, open lawn perfect for play, picnics, and public events. The Block 34 Green invites visitors to relax, gather, or enjoy outdoor performances under the sky.
Designed for all abilities, this nature-inspired play area encourages creative exploration, physical activity, and social connection for children of all ages.
An interactive zone where kids can make joyful noise together. This music-themed space includes sensory-friendly instruments for inclusive, creative play.

A winding path honoring Stillwater’s musical heritage, the Musician’s Walk celebrates local legends and offers a space to stroll through the city’s creative legacy.
