Municipal Court

The City of Stillwater Municipal Court is the judicial branch of the city government. The function of this court is to adjudicate all traffic, non-traffic and parking violations of city ordinances.

The court is presided over by the Honorable Judge Tanya C. Raun and administered by the Municipal Court Division. The Municipal Court Division maintains all court records, ensures the orderly conduct of court sessions, and accounts for all fiscal matters involving the Municipal Court System. The City of Stillwater is a court not-of-record.

Docket Type & Times

  • Trials: Tuesday at 1 pm
  • General Review: Wednesday at 9 am
  • Juvenile Docket: Tuesday at 3 pm
  • Arraignments: Wednesday at 1 pm

Failure to Appear / Fail to Satisfy Any Court Order

If you fail to appear or to otherwise fail to satisfy any court order, one and all of the following items may apply:

  • Your Oklahoma driver's license may be suspended. If you are an out-of-state visitor, your license from your home state can be suspended as well.
  • The offense could be entered as a conviction on your record.
  • A warrant could be issued for your arrest.
  • A charge for failure to appear could be filed against you.

Parking

Open and timed parking lots are available in front of the building and along Lewis Street between 7th and 9th Avenues.
