(STILLWATER, OK) – On Friday, September 8, 2023, at 10:36 a.m., Stillwater Police Department (SPD) took a report of a recovered stolen vehicle. The victim used a tracking app to locate it in the area of 1603 N. Cimarron Plaza. The victim was advised to have the vehicle towed to another location due to the suspect(s) having the keys to the vehicle.
At 4:22 p.m., SPD responded to the area of 120 S. Husband in reference to a stolen vehicle. This was the same vehicle that had been recovered earlier this morning. SPD officers arrived in the area of 213 W. Elm and observed the stolen vehicle leaving the parking garage of an apartment complex. The officer advised two black males exited the car and the officer gave chase.
SPD officers converged the area in an attempt to locate the suspects. Officers were able to locate one suspect on foot who was identified as a 13 year old juvenile male. The juvenile was arrested on a report of a Runaway Juvenile and Obstructing an Officer. SPD officers located the second suspect at a residence in the area of 100 W. Maple. The suspect, later identified as Royal Greasham broke into an occupied residence. Greasham was located inside a hot water heater closet attempting to hide from officers. He was arrested for 1st Degree Burglary and Obstructing an Officer.
Officers from dayshift, evening shift, Special Projects Unit, and our Criminal Investigations Division worked together to make these arrests. Great team work!
Due the age of the juvenile, his name will not be released. This is an arrest, not a conviction.
